Organisation of a seminar entitled 'Guarantee for the Youth and Structured Dialogue' by the National Youth Council of Greece in collaboration with Europe Direct (European Info Center) in Komotini and NGO 'System and G' under the auspices of 'Thra.Ki.' social enterprise. The seminar took place in Komotini, on Tuesday 1st July 2014.

The National Youth Council of Greece - the official representation body of the Greek Youth both in Greece and abroad- realised the particular action in the context of the European Project "NFE South R-Evolution: Empowering non formal education in Southern Europe".

This project, which resulted in the collaboratino of youth organisations from 9 different countries has managed in the course of 2 years to empower non-formal education in Southern Europe and train educators of non-formal education as well as a powerful network.

The informative seminar entitled 'Guarantee for the Youth and Structured dialogue" aimed at utilising the newly-acquired knowledge and -through the use of structured dialogue - at promoting guarantee policies for the youth at local level. The participants had the chance to refresh their knowledge regarding the seminar issues and then, by working in groups, to write down proposals to be promoted to the relevant official bodies.

The above is the first action of the project taking place in Greece and the National Youth Council of Greece opted for Komotini as the venue of the seminar. This was due to the fact the most of the Greek educators of non-formal education who were trained through the 'NFE South R-Evolution' come from Komotini, Greece.
